Each module is straightforward and informal - focussed on your requirements. Every module is completely impartial and looks at the full spectrum of solutions available in the UK offering you a unique opportunity to understand the market.


The following table is a guide to what is covered in each module. The next page in this section has a Project Plan 'calculator' so you can work out an estimate of what you can achive from Your Project.

Trading Platforms:
A look at the many ways to transact with your customers on the web from standard shop catalogues and shopping carts to booking systems - order forms - tendering requests - rental models and customer specific pricing. Costs, features, ease of use and examples are used to find the best option for your business.
Content Management:
There are a number of ways for you to control the content of your website and this module looks at the alternatives from free plug-ins to cheap software. Other no cost site features like news feeds, maps, message boards, currency convertors, upload forms and more are also demonstrated.
Online Payments:
Not every business wants to take payments over the Internet but this very informative module covers all 20 payment options in the UK from free PayPal to market leading WorldPay.
Design:
However or whatever your site is offering to your customers you will need to brand the look and feel of your pages and this module lets you communicate your specific design requirements to the E-Business Intructors who can customise the pages of your website and trading areas.
Hosting:
You may already have a web address and hosting in place. This module checks it will work with any trading / payment solutions you have chosen and looks at the range of free to corporate hosting for those who have not yet selected something.
Broadband:
A concise module discussing the benefits of faster connections and pointing out the costs and any local grants you may be liable for. Broadband is not a requirement for Your Project.
Knowledge Modules:
These modules cover useful topics like search-engine optimisation; image management; FTP (uploading your website) and online legal issues. The modules are introduced by the delivery team and are also available online as short tutorials.
Training:
There are several time-slots for training in editing your site content; uploading and managing your shop products and departments; processing payments and/or customer enquiry forms and any other features of your site like newsfeeds. Training is at the heart of Your Project and the team will ensure that controlling your website becomes as easy as riding a bike!
Project Handover:
To complete and sign-off Your Project Plan this module checks through every element of your website and ticks the boxes so you are confident in moving forward with your new online presence - phew!
